OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS Thursday, December 1, 2022     Good Morning OLA!   Today is Thursday, December 1, 2022.    Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God as we  offer our special intentions for those in need of our prayers.     In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.   This morning, we light one purple candle on our wreath for the first week of Advent, the week of hope. Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.   Today we place ornaments on the Jesse Tree to represent the creation story and the fall of man. As we journey through Advent together, we will light the Advent wreath in the morning and add an ornament to our Jesse tree each day. These traditions help us remember how the Chosen People waited and prepared for the Messiah, and helps to prepare our hearts and homes for the second coming of Jesus.   This morning, we light one purple candle on our wreath for the first week of Advent, the week of hope.   We begin the Jesse tree with the stump of Jesse.   The Jesse stump represents a tree that has be
