                                 OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS Friday, October 29, 2021   Good Morning OLA!   Today is   Friday, October 29, 2021.    Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.     In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.   Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Thoughts on today's verse:  When things are tough, we find it easy to call on God and lean on his mercy and grace. He is our Savior. But when things are going well, we forget to acknowledge that all the blessings we have and all the opportunities we have received come because of his grace. In our joy and success, we need to learn to acknowledge him! Gracious Father, every good thing we have in my life has come because of you. Thoughts on today's verse:  How do we have unity and harmony? Peter reminds us that we must have three commitments:  actively share concern with those who grieve; share love just like a healthy family does; and show compassion as we deal with others failures toward us. Let him show it by his good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom. Thoughts on today's verse:  Wisdom is proven right by the character of a loving lifestyle. Loving Shepherd, I know you have been a wise and loving Father to me. Help me to share that care you have lavished on me on the person who most needs it today.   In Jesus' name we pray.   Hail Mary, full of grace. Our Lord is with thee. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Thoughts on today's verse:  Hearts full of thanks -- that's what makes for good singing! With Jesus as the source of our salvation and center of our future, how can we not sing!  But singing is not just for us and God.  God wants our songs to bless others. It is our ultimate spiritual talk. O Lord, my God, you are Awesome and wondrous. Your works are magnificent and your deeds are beyond comprehension. Lord, please give us wisdom to say things that lead people closer to you. Give us words of help and hope for the broken.  Give us words of direction for the confused.
