  OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS Thursday, August 31, 2023 Good Morning OLA!      Today is Thursday, August 31, 2023.     Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.     In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.   Psalms 95:6-7   Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker; for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care. Thoughts on today's verse:   Worship is more than our heart, soul, and words offered to God. It's our posture. When we understand the grace he has given us to be called his children, what else can we do but bow down. Lord, we come to you seeking your protection and rest. We submit ourselves to be used for your glory -- not just today, but for the rest of our lives. Thoughts on today's verse :   This statement is both a reminder of God's glorious grace and also of our need to share that grace with others. Father of all nations, resurrect in your people a desire to spread your grace to every language, tribe, nation, and people. Empower us with your Spirit so we will speak the Gospel of Jesus with boldness and respect to a world that does not know him.
