                          OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS Thursday, March 31, 2022   Good Morning OLA!   Today is Thursday, March 31, 2022.    Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.     In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.   Isaiah 53:5-6 He was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. Thoughts on today's verse:  Jesus had my sin, your sin, our sin, placed upon him so we would not have to bear the consequences of it. God of peace, fill our souls with the wonder of your grace.                             OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS Wednesday, March 30, 2022   Good Morning OLA!   Today is Wednesday, March 30, 2022.    Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.     In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.   God Almighty, your plan to redeem us takes our breath away. How and why you chose to take your precious son and expose him to such public disgrace we will never comprehend. But this we do know: you love us with an everlasting love. Thoughts on today's verse:  We are God's righteousness. We are the testimony of how holy, just, and gracious he truly is, because in Jesus, we are his righteousness! Thank you, O Almighty God, for making us righteous in the blood of your son's death. Thoughts on today's verse:  We can be forgiven of our sins; but only because of God's grace and his willingness to give us the perfect sacrifice for our sins. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. Thoughts on today's verse:  Many of the struggles in our lives are not mere accidents!  Our challenges often come from the hand of our enemy, Satan. He always prowls around looking for the best scheme to knock us out of our commitment to, and relationship with, the Lord.  Placing ourselves firmly in the hands of the Lord will help us defeat our enemy.                                OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS Friday, March 18, 2022   Good Morning OLA!  Today is Friday, March 18, 2022.    Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.     In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.   John 6:35   Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty." Thoughts on today's verse:  We crave food at regular intervals during the day. But deep in our soul is a hunger, a soul hunger. It cannot be filled by food, drink, or chemicals. This hunger was the desire built into us by our Creator, placed there when he knit us together in our mother's womb. This hunger can only be satiated by Jesus. Please fill me, my Father, with Jesus.
