                               OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS Tuesday, November 30, 2021   Good Morning OLA!   Today is Tuesday, November 30, 2021.    Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.     In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. This week we will begin decorating our Jesse Tree in St. Joseph hall.  Each day we will add a couple of ornaments to symbolize the story of how God prepared his people for the coming of the Savior.  Today’s ornament is the tree stump - the stump of Jesse, which reminds us of the family tree of Jesus.   God has a plan for everything. Before Jesus was born lived a man named Jesse. Jesse has 7 sons; the youngest was named David. When David grew up he became a great king of Israel. God had a plan for Jesse and for his son David, even before they were born. Jesus was also part of Jesse and David’s family tree, born many years after David.                              OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS Monday, November 29, 2021   Good Morning OLA!   Today is Monday, November 29, 2021.    Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.     In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Colossians 3:17    Whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Thoughts on today's verse:  No matter what we say, no matter what we do, it is to be offered as a gift of thanks to God with Jesus' name, power, and honor attached!  We lovingly offer you our words, our actions, our hearts and our minds to bring you glory by doing your will. In Jesus name we pray:   Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and

                              OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS Friday, November 19, 2021   Good Morning OLA!   Today is Friday, November 19, 2021.    Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.     In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. 1 Timothy 2:1-2  I urge, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone - for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. Thoughts on today's verse:   God wants us to be a praying people. But more than that, God wants us to pray for people. The blessing of that kind of prayerful life is that we get to live peaceful and quiet lives full of godliness and holiness. John 17:17   Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth. Thoughts on today's verse:  God's promises, God's Scripture, and God's clearest message of all, his Son, are truth. But only the last of these is truth, grace, deliverer, friend, Lord, Savior, brother, Redeemer... O God, give me a holy passion to know your truth and live it in both word and deed.
