We praise you for giving us life, for saving us in Christ, and for choosing us to be your people. As we come to the end of this school year, we voice our gratitude for the good things you have done in us, and we praise you for all who have shared in the work of this school. We ask you to bless them in your love and give them refreshment and peace.                               OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS Thursday, May 19, 2022             Good Morning OLA!   Today is Thursday, May 19, 2022.   Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.     In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.   James 3:17-18     The wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace raise a harvest of righteousness. Thoughts on today's verse:  Heavenly wisdom is full of sacrificial earthly action. That's a powerful reminder to us that wisdom is not what you know but what you sow! Holy and Wise Father, thank you for demonstrating purity, peace-making, consideration, submissiveness, mercy, good fruit, impartiality, and sincerity in Jesus. We ask for the power and the courage to demonstrate those qualities this week as we seek to live more like him.

Thoughts on today's verse:  We want the Spirit to be at work in us to make us like Jesus. For this to happen, we must open our heart to the will of God. There are no greater words God wants to hear than "teach me to do your will." Thoughts on today's verse:  O God, we pray that when the storms of life rage against us, we will remember these words and find refuge, comfort and peace in your sheltering care.
