Good Morning OLA!   Today is Wednesday, October 27, 2021. 

 

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

1 Peter 3:8  Live in harmony with one another; be sympathetic, love as brothers, be compassionate and humble.

Thoughts on today's verse:  How do we have unity and harmony? Peter reminds us that we must have three commitments:  actively share concern with those who grieve; share love just like a healthy family does; and show compassion as we deal with others failures toward us.


Father, let me be an instrument of your peace, harmony, and unity as we pray.

 

Hail Mary, full of grace. Our Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.  Amen

Mathcounts and Taekwondo will not meet this week, the fun will resume next week.

 

National Honor Society will begin offering free tutoring on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 - 4:00. 


Join Campus Ministry on the steps of the church tomorrow morning at 7:50am to pray the Rosary.  For more information, please see Mrs. Mayer.

 

Service Hours Opportunity – The Carnival Association of Long Beach are in need of workers to help with games and face painting, on Saturday from 1:30 to 6:00 p.m.

 

Red Ribbon Week

Tomorrow:  Sock It to Drugs (fun socks). 

Also, Slippers are not allowed for "elderly" dress up on Friday and 7th grade needs to pick up their paper for the banner for the pep rally, please see Mrs. Cuevas TODAY.


Mandatory National Honor Society meeting tomorrow at the beginning of second lunch in the physics lab.

                         OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS Friday, August 4, 2023   Good Morning OLA!    Today is Friday, August 4, 2023.    Welcome Back to the 2023-2024 School Year: It’s hard to believe that we are starting yet another school year.  If you are a returning student, welcome back!  If you are new to our OLA family, welcome!  We are looking forward to a very successful and fun-filled school year.
