 OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Monday, November 8, 2021

Good Morning OLA!   Today is Monday, November 8, 2021.

Student Council’s School-Wide PINK OUT Fund Raiser for Breast Cancer Awareness

Last month, we raised $ 983.70 and donated this amount to Mrs. Jennifer Mink.  We received the following Thank You note in the mail.  On the envelope was #intentioanl disciples in action.  God’s Got This!

Dear OLA,

Thank you so much for the generous gift.  I was amazed at the support you young ladies have shown me.  Nobody wants to be told they have cancer, but as I go through this journey, I am constantly surprised by the love and support I receive.  I have finished by chemo treatments.  Yeah!  I am now in the process of scheduling surgery.  Please continue to keep me in your prayers.  That is the best support I can get.  God’s Got This!

Love Jennifer Mink.

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God as we pray for Jennifer Mink.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Joshua 24:15  If serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve.... As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.

Thoughts on today's verse.  While we can't speak for everyone in our family, we can commit to what everyone in our family should desire: We will serve the Lord!

Give me wisdom, O tender Shepherd, on how to lead our families to love you more. Bless our parents, and thank you for their faith. Please give us courage and sensitivity so that we can effectively share your truth. We want to be a place where you are known, appreciated, honored, and loved.  Through Jesus we pray…

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Please remain standing for the Pledge:

I pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
