Good Morning OLA!   Today is Thursday, November 18, 2021. 

 

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.


John 17:17  Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.

Thoughts on today's verse:  God's promises, God's Scripture, and God's clearest message of all, his Son, are truth. But only the last of these is truth, grace, deliverer, friend, Lord, Savior, brother, Redeemer...

O God, give me a holy passion to know your truth and live it in both word and deed. Make my life a reflection of your Word, who both proclaimed and lived your truth.  In Jesus' name we pray.

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

IMPORTANT MESSAGES

Remember to bring in your canned goods for the SADD fundraiser for King's Kitchen. On Friday, those students who bring in 2 canned goods will be allowed to wear an OLA T-shirt, jeans with no holes, rips, or tears, and closed-back shoes (no slippers). Bring your canned goods to your 1st period teacher.

 

Robotics and Lego League will meet after school today.

 

Reminder, Breakfast Fundraiser in the morning. Don’t forget to pick up your chicken minis and a drink from the commons TOMORROW MORNING by 8:10 am.  All breakfasts MUST be picked up before 8:10.

 

National Honor Society offers free tutoring today from 3:30 - 4:00, report to room 19. 

 

Drama Club will meet TODAY immediately after school in Mrs. Jarrell's room.  This is a mandatory meeting unless you have spoken with Mrs. Jarrell in advance to be excused. 


OLA Sports

Today: JV/V soccer at home vs. Resurrection, V at 5:30 and JV following.

V Basketball at Picayune, varsity at 6:00.

                         OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS Friday, August 4, 2023   Good Morning OLA!    Today is Friday, August 4, 2023.    Welcome Back to the 2023-2024 School Year: It’s hard to believe that we are starting yet another school year.  If you are a returning student, welcome back!  If you are new to our OLA family, welcome!  We are looking forward to a very successful and fun-filled school year.
