Good Morning OLA! Today is Tuesday, November 16, 2021.
Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Ephesians 1:18 I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints.
Thoughts on today's verse: Heaven is something we see with our heart. When we are discouraged, doubtful, and depressed, we need to have the eyes of our hearts "enlightened." In Jesus' name we pray,
Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

IMPORTANT MESSAGES
SADD will be holding a canned goods drive for King's Kitchen for Thanksgiving. Monday-Thursday of this week, you can bring in a minimum of 2 canned goods and have a dress down day on Friday, November 19th. Friday, students will be allowed to wear an OLA T-shirt, jeans with no holes, rips, or tears, and closed-back shoes. Bring your canned goods to your 1st period teacher.
Tomorrow is a “Late Take-In Day”, school starts at 9:30. The building will be open at 8:00 a.m. for all non-driving students, please enter through the Gym Door (door closest to the street/courtyard). Once students are on campus, they will not be allowed to leave to go to their locker. So please retrieve items from your locker before leaving school TODAY.
Mathcounts will meet on Wednesdayand Robotics and Lego League will meet on Thursday.
National Honor Society offers free tutoring on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 - 4:00, report to room 19.
OLA Sports
Today: JV/V Soccer at Harrison Central, V at 5:30 and JV following.
JV/V Basketball at home vs. Gautier, JV at 5 and varsity following.
Wednesday: Junior high soccer at SSC vs. Bayou View at 5:30.
Thursday: JV/V soccer at home vs. Resurrection, V at 5:30 and JV following.
V Basketball at Picayune, varsity at 6:00.
