Good Morning OLA! Today is Wednesday, November 17, 2021.
Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Dear Lord, Thank you for this new day. Thank you for our school. Thank you for the teachers. Thank you for the things we will learn. Thank you for this time we will have together. In Jesus' name we pray,
Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

BIRTHDAYS
Celebrating their birthday today is Sofie Talazac. Happy Birthday Sofie!
IMPORTANT MESSAGES
Remember to bring in your canned goods for the SADD fundraiser for King's Kitchen. On Friday, those students who bring in 2 canned goods will be allowed to wear an OLA T-shirt, jeans with no holes, rips, or tears, and closed-back shoes (no slippers). Bring your canned goods to your 1st period teacher.
Taekwondo and Mathcounts will meet after school today. Robotics and Lego League will meet on Thursday.
Reminder, Breakfast Fundraiser on Friday morning. Don’t forget to pick up your chicken minis and a drink from the commons by 8:10 am. All breakfasts MUST be picked up before 8:10.
National Honor Society offers free tutoring on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 - 4:00, report to room 19.
Drama Club will meet on Thursday, 11/18 immediately after school in Mrs. Jarrell's room. The scripts for the play are in and actors will need to sign for and pick up their script so that they can begin learning their lines. We will have our first complete read through, so this is a very important meeting! This is a mandatory meeting unless you have spoken with Mrs. Jarrell in advance to be excused. See you after school at 3:30 on Thursday!
OLA Sports
The JV and varsity soccer teams both beat Harrison Central last night!
The junior high soccer team plays Bayou view middle at SSC tonight at 5:30
Thursday: JV/V soccer at home vs. Resurrection, V at 5:30 and JV following.
V Basketball at Picayune, varsity at 6:00.
