Good Morning OLA!   Today is Tuesday, December 14, 2021. 

 

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

Today we place David's Crown and Solomon's Temple on the Jesse Tree

 

David was a shepherd when he was anointed King of Israel.  Jesus came as the Good Shepherd, and now sits on the throne of the Kingdom of Heaven at the right hand of God. God continues to shepherd his people today through the bishops and priests anointed to lead the Kingdom of God on earth.

 

Solomon was blessed with wisdom and he sought to build the Temple in Jerusalem to honor God.  His wisdom reminded him that he could not be a good leader apart from God.  He needed God's wisdom and discernment.

 

Come Holy Spirit and fill our hearts today.  Give us the strength and courage of David and Jesus to follow your will.  Grant us the gift of wisdom to know and to follow your truth and goodness.  Through Jesus we pray.  

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Taekwondo and Mathcounts will not meet this week. 

 

Come out to our annual "Late Night Breakfast" Study Session TODAY from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm in the OLA Commons, hosted by Mu Alpha Theta.  Come study with your friends, ask your teachers those last minute exam questions, and enjoy some bacon (and other breakfast foods)!

                         OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS Friday, August 4, 2023   Good Morning OLA!    Today is Friday, August 4, 2023.    Welcome Back to the 2023-2024 School Year: It’s hard to believe that we are starting yet another school year.  If you are a returning student, welcome back!  If you are new to our OLA family, welcome!  We are looking forward to a very successful and fun-filled school year.
