                              OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Wednesday, December 8, 2021

Good Morning OLA!   Today is Wednesday, December 8, 2021.

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

This morning we place the tablets, the rope, and the hands on the Jesse Tree.

The best way to know how to use or take care of your car is to read the owner's manual.  It is written by the creator of the item.  The Ten Commandments are an owner's manual for our lives.  They were a merciful gift from God to tell us how to love.

Rahab saved the lives of God's people by helping Joshua and the Israelites when they fought the Battle of Jericho.  She was brave and believed in God's power.  God remembered her, honored her, and protected her.

Aaron and his family were established as the priests of the Hebrews.  God showed his people that sacrifice is vital to worship.  In the Mass, Christ serves as both our high priest and the sacrificial victim.

Dear God, help us as we go through our day to remember how you told us to love, to have the courage to do the right thing, and to remember that sometimes we are called to sacrifice for others.  Through Jesus we pray…

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Please remain standing for the Pledge:

I pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
