                            OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Friday, January 28, 2022

Good Morning OLA!   Today is Friday, January 28, 2022.

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Mark 9:35 - Sitting down, Jesus called the twelve and said, "If anyone wants to be first, he must be the very last, and the servant of all."

Thoughts on today's verse:  Last? Nobody likes to be last. Jesus reverses the rank. The person who is most important to him is not the person seeking the status and notoriety. The most important person is like Jesus himself, willing to give up rank and status and importance to serve. For Jesus, last means first in service and first in the eyes of God.

Lord Jesus, help us to see those you want us to serve with grace and kindness as we try to be more like you. In Jesus name we pray…

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Please remain standing for the Pledge:

I pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
