Good Morning OLA!   Today is Monday, February 21, 2022. 

 

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

Proverbs 17:9  He who covers over an offense promotes love, but whoever repeats the matter separates close friends.

Thoughts on today's verse:  "It's just a little harmless gossip." The Wise Teacher reminds us that gossip is neither “little” nor “harmless”. Its consequences are huge and its damage horrible.

Father, give us the character not to repeat gossip, but instead have the wisdom and strength to be peacemakers.  In Jesus name we pray…

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

OLA Sports

The softball team beat Moss Point 18-3 on Friday night! Great win girls!

The tennis team beat Long Beach 5-2 on Saturday! Way to go girls!

 

Monday: Golf Tournament at Sunkist Country Club at 2:30.  Archery at D'Iberville at 5:00 pm

Tuesday: Track meet at Gulfport High School at 4:00 pm.  Tennis match at home vs. Resurrection at 4:30 pm.

Softball at Pearl River Central at 5:30 pm

Wednesday: Archery at home vs. East Central at 5:00.

Thursday: Softball at home vs. Gautier at 5:30 pm. Tennis at Ocean Springs at 4 pm.

Friday: Softball at Ben's Ford at 4:00 pm.

Saturday: Tennis vs. New Albany at Bowman's Tennis Club at 10:30.
