Good Morning OLA!   Today is Thursday, February 24, 2022. 

 

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

Matthew 22:37-39  Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.

Thoughts on today's verse:  Living for Jesus can be boiled down to two principles: love God with everything we are and have, and love others and treat them as we would like to be treated.

O Living and only True God. Please accept the work of our hands, the words of our mouths, the moments of our rest, and the love of our hearts as our worship to you this day.  In Jesus name we pray…

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Important Message

Campus ministry is having a rosary for Elena Lucore and her family at 8 on the church steps tomorrow morning. 

 

National Honor Society tutoring after school today from 3:30 to 4:00 in Mrs. Colbert's room. 

OLA Sports

Today: Softball at home vs. Gautier at 5:30 pm. Tennis at Ocean Springs at 4 pm.

Friday: Softball at Ben's Ford at 4:00 pm.

Saturday: Tennis vs. New Albany at Bowman's Tennis Club at 10:30.

 

Listen Up!  Tomorrow, students may wear purple, green, gold shirts with jeans (no holes, rips, tears) and closed back shoes (no slippers).

 

Also, Student Council Bake Sale TOMORROW, assorted snacks will be sold for $1;00 each.  Please remember to bring money to support our Student Council.
