Good Morning OLA!   Today is Tuesday, February 8, 2022. 

 

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

Father God, Be with us today.  Fill our hearts with joy.  Fill our minds with learning.  Fill our classrooms with peace.  Fill our lessons with fun.  Fill our friendships with kindness.  Fill our school with love.  In Jesus name we pray…

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

IMPORTANT MESSAGES

It’s time for our annual campus ministry baby shower benefiting St. Gerard Outreach, see flyers posted throughout campus.  All those who donate items will be invited to enjoy the baby shower during your lunch.

 

National Honor Society tutoring today after school from 3:30 to 4:00 in Mrs. Colbert's room. 

 

Earn Service Hours, the Buddy Ball Baseball Program helps special needs young people participate in T-ball, see flyer in the office window.

 

Mathcounts will meet after school on Friday.

 

Progress reports will be issued Friday morning.  If you have any missing assignments that can be made up, see your teacher as soon as possible.

 

OLA Sports

Today: Varsity Basketball District Tournament vs. West Marion at 4 pm at Jefferson Davis County School

Tomorrow is a “Late Take-In Day”, school starts at 9:30. The building will be open at 8:00 a.m. for all non-driving students, please enter through the Gym Door (door closest to the street/courtyard). Once students are on campus, they will not be allowed to leave to go to their locker.  So please retrieve items from your locker before leaving school TODAY.
