Good Morning OLA!   Today is Monday, March 14, 2022. 

 

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

Lord, Wrap us as a close knit family, draw us near to you Lord, and bind us with your Loving Hands. Let us be drawn closer to You. You are the Vine, dear Lord and we are the branches. You carry all knowledge and all power. You Lord are our medicine. Your Words Lord are Truth and Life.  Through Jesus my Lord as we pray:

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

BIRTHDAYS

Celebrating their birthday today is Ambrie Alderman.  Happy Birthday Ambrie!

 

IMPORTANT MESSAGES

Taekwondo will meet after school today.

 

Senior members of French Honor Society, please fill out the Google Form in Mrs. Kayes's email.  Your dues are due 12:30 TODAY.  Practice will be on March 23 at 3:00, and the ceremony will be on March 24th at 7:45.

 

Car Riders:  Students, if you are picked up after school, it is very important that your ride go through the carline to pick you up. For safety reasons, students should NOT walk across Beach Blvd. to meet their ride; nor be picked up on Union Street. 

 

SPIRIT WEEK 2022

MANIC MONDAY

You may wear crazy hair and crazy socks with your school uniform and school shoes

 

DUDESDAY “TUESDAY”

You may wear an SSC school uniform instead of your OLA uniform

 

WILDERNESS WEDNESDAY

You may wear anything camouflage colors (pants, shirt, hat, jacket, shoes etc).  If it is not camouflage you will need to wear your uniform—for example, if you do not have camouflage pants, you will need to wear your school skirt and if you do not have a camouflage shirt you will need to wear an OLA tshirt with your camouflage pants.  You may wear camouflage shoes/boots or tennis shoes or your school shoes

 

ST PATRICKS DAY is THURSDAY

You may wear a green shirt and green pants/joggers/sweatpants with green accessories and green shoes

If you do not have green pants, wear your school skirt

If you do not have green shoes you may wear tennis shoes or school shoes

 

BANNER COLOR FRIDAY

You may wear the 2 colors your class chose for their banner with your school skirt or jeans(no holes tears or rips) and tennis shoes or shoes with a back and no slippers.

If you have solid color joggers or sweats that go with your class colors you may wear them

 

For your scheduled OLA gym practice YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN SPEAKER!!!    You WILL NOT be allowed to use the OLA system for practice. 

 

OLA Sports

Monday: Tennis at Bayou Bluff vs. St. Patrick at 4 pm

-Junior High Track meet at Pass at 4:30 pm

Wednesday: Softball@ home vs. Jeff Davis at 5:30 pm

Thursday: Archery at home vs. West Harrison at 5 pm

-Varsity Track meet at St. Patrick at 4 pm
