Good Morning OLA!   Today is Tuesday, March 15, 2022. 

 

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

2 Thessalonians 1:3 - We ought always to thank God for you, brothers, and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love every one of you has for each other is increasing.

Thoughts on today's verse:  "Increase my faith, O Lord." "Increase my strength." "Increase my wisdom." We often pray for these things, but when is the last time you thanked God for your love increasing?

Holy God, may your love so fill us that we share it with others who call on your name. May this love grow and increase in our lives so others may readily see its benefits and recognize that it is a direct response to your lavish love shared with us. In Jesus name we pray…..

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

National Honor Society tutoring today after school from 3:30 to 4:00 in Mrs. Colbert's room. 

 

SPIRIT WEEK 2022

 

WILDERNESS WEDNESDAY

You may wear anything camouflage colors (pants, shirt, hat, jacket, shoes etc).  If it is not camouflage you will need to wear your uniform—for example, if you do not have camouflage pants, you will need to wear your school skirt and if you do not have a camouflage shirt you will need to wear an OLA tshirt with your camouflage pants.  You may wear camouflage shoes/boots or tennis shoes or your school shoes

 

ST PATRICKS DAY is THURSDAY

You may wear a green shirt and green pants/joggers/sweatpants with green accessories and green shoes

If you do not have green pants, wear your school skirt

If you do not have green shoes you may wear tennis shoes or school shoes

 

BANNER COLOR FRIDAY

You may wear the 2 colors your class chose for their banner with your school skirt or jeans(no holes tears or rips) and tennis shoes or shoes with a back and no slippers.

If you have solid color joggers or sweats that go with your class colors you may wear them

 

For your scheduled OLA gym practice YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN SPEAKER!!!    You WILL NOT be allowed to use the OLA system for practice. 

 

Attention all students--tickets will be on sale both lunch periods.  Each student is allowed to purchase 2 tickets.  They are $5 and can be charged to FACTS.  

 

If you are not participating in intramurals you cannot buy a ticket.  

 

Also remember to turn in your receipt for your banner fabric so that you can be reimbursed.   Turn in receipt to Mrs. Cuevas ASAP

 

OLA Sports

The tennis team beat St. Patrick 6-1 last night. With this win they are district champions! Congratulations!

 

Wednesday: Softball@ home vs. Jeff Davis at 5:30 pm

Thursday: Archery at home vs. West Harrison at 5 pm

-Varsity Track meet at St. Patrick at 4 pm
