Good Morning OLA!  Today is Thursday, April 14, 2022. 

 

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

1 Corinthians 15:1-4   I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you... that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, and that he was raised on the third day according Scriptures.

Thoughts on today's verse:  The Gospel story is pretty simple to understand. The grace of the Gospel is glorious to receive. The sacrifice of the Gospel is incomprehensible. The victory of the Gospel is life.

Almighty Lord, thank you for the empty tomb and Jesus' victory over the grave. Just as Jesus' death pardoned my sin, his resurrection assures my future. Thank you for grace and glory. May my life today be lived by the power of the resurrection. In Jesus name we pray..….

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

OLA Sports

The following girls will play for the individual Tennis State Championship on April 25th and 26th in Oxford.

Jackie Mossy, Natalia Mossy, Audrey Chang, Abby Whaley, Liza Richoux and Maria Schuyler.

The following golfers will compete in the Golf State Championship on April 25th and 26th in Grenada.

Caleigh Chapman, Eugenie Saunders, Tilley Newman, Gabby Haas.  Good Luck Ladies!

Prayer Service today in the OLG church, starting at 9:54.  Those students who have 2^nd period class at SSC, DO NOT report to SSC.  Report to Mrs. Tolar’s room 24 instead.
