Good Morning OLA!  Today is Wednesday, May 18, 2022.

 

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

Psalms 143:10:  Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.

Thoughts on today's verse:  We want the Spirit to be at work in us to make us like Jesus. For this to happen, we must open our heart to the will of God. There are no greater words God wants to hear than "teach me to do your will." That is what it means for him to be God, to have control over our life and our will.  Through Jesus we pray:

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Service Hours:  The food booth at the St. Claire Seafood Festival is looking for students who need service hours to work the weekend of the fair.

 

OLA Sports

Today: JV, varsity and junior high Soccer tryouts at 3:45.

 

All 8th through 11^th grade BAND STUDENTS………. At the end of 1^st period today, you will report to the SSC Band Hall.
