Good Morning OLA! Today is Thursday, May 12, 2022.
Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Ephesians 4:32 - Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
Thoughts on today's verse: Be kind and compassionate, -- two qualities that seem to be in short supply. Maybe it is because we hold up the wrong heroes, but these two qualities are often seen as a sign of weakness rather than strength. To forgive as God forgave us requires great courage and great strength. So let's be strong!
Holy God, there is no way we can adequately thank you for sacrificing so much to forgive us. So this day, we pledge to be more like you, to share more of kindness and grace with those who have wronged us. Today, we ask you to help us release our bitterness and we ask you to bless us with your kindness and grace. Through Jesus our Lord we pray……..
Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Today: Basketball tryouts – JV/V 3:45-5:30; Junior High 5:30-7:00.
Friday: Attention students planning to attend soccer tryouts…they have been moved from Friday to Wednesday, May 18th at 3:45.
