Good Morning OLA!  Today is Tuesday, May 3, 2022.

 

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

Romans 12:12  Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.

Thoughts on today's verse:  Sometimes the key to survival is simply going on faithfully trusting that God is there helping us, despite the outward circumstances. Choosing joy through hope rather than despair, choosing patient endurance in times of affliction, and choosing faithfulness in prayer are all decisions of the will. We trust that God, who raised Jesus from the dead, can also change our circumstances because he hears our voice.

Create in us, O Mighty God, resolute and steadfast hearts so that we might persevere with joy no matter what the difficulty. In Jesus’ name we pray:

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

IMPORTANT MESSAGES

TOMORROW, please help support the Robotics team to go to summer tournaments.   Donate three dollars or more (cash only) and wear your jeans (no holes, rips, tears) and closed back shoes (no slippers).

 

Raffle tickets, please bring your tickets and money to Ms. Chapman!!!!!!    

 

Taekwondo will meet after school today at 3:30 p.m. in the Physic Lab.  This will be their last meeting this year.

 

OLA Sports

Basketball tryouts will be held next week after school for 9th-12th grade. Junior high tryouts will also be held next week at 5:30-7 pm.  If you plan to tryout, please put your name on the sign-up sheet on the office window.

 

Please return all outstanding uniforms to Coach Corley by Friday of this week!!
