Good Morning OLA!  Today is Wednesday, May 11, 2022.

 

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

Faith First……… Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trails of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.  Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.  James 1:2-4

 

In Jesus name we pray….

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

BIRTHDAYS

Celebrating birthdays today are Mary Claire Scarborough and Campbell St. Paul.  Happy Birthday May Claire and Campbell!

 

IMPORTANT MESSAGES

It’s that time of year again! Our Lady of the Gulf’s Vacation Bible School is working on getting service hours out to students who would like to help. This year VBS is July 11-15th (8:45) 9-12:30pm. Breakfast and snacks provided. Limited spaces are available so sign up on the volunteer form at olgchurch.net

Any questions students can ask Mrs. Tolar or Mrs. Massery or see flyer in office window.  We always need a lot of help from our OLA girls to make every year a success and they always come through!

 

OLA Sports

Today:  Basketball tryouts – JV/V 3:45-5:30; Junior High 5:30-7:00.

Friday:  Junior high, JV and varsity soccer tryouts will be held on Friday, May 13th at 3:45.

Last Day of School – Dress Code & Dismissal Information

  Dear Parents, As we approach the last day of school on  Friday , please take note of the following important reminders: Students may wear shorts and a t-shirt  on the last day. Please ensure attire is school-appropriate. 8th grade students  should bring their  complete Mass uniform  to change into for the  8th Grade Promotion Ceremony . Exams will end at 10:00 AM. From  10:00–11:00 AM , students will report to their  class sponsor’s classroom . During this time, they will be called to the office to  return Chromebooks and chargers . 8th graders  will return their Chromebooks during their  8th period exam .
