                           OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Monday, August 29, 2022

Good Morning OLA!   Today is Monday, August 29, 2022.

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Galatians 3:28  There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

Thoughts on today's verse:  Wouldn't it be great if we could tear down all the walls that divide us. The apostle Paul spent his entire life trying to do just that, to tear down the walls that divided people by bringing them to Jesus and the cross. There are no positions of superiority or inferiority at the foot of the cross, only those who discover God's might displayed in sacrifice and God's love displayed in the face of human cruelty. While the forces of culture and human selfishness are always finding ways to divide us, we must remember that in Jesus, and only in Jesus, we can be one.

Forgive us, O God, when we have let prejudice and suspicion keep us from fully loving those whom you have claimed as your children. We pray that our lives will be examples of redemption and unity as we seek to love your children as you do.  In Jesus name we pray….

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Please remain standing for the Pledge:

I pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
