Today is Thursday, August 11, 2022. 

 

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.  

 

Psalms 119:14
I rejoice in following your statutes as one rejoices in great riches.

Thoughts on today's verse:  Our treasure and our truth come from Scripture, God's guidance to avoid Satan's harmful traps and live in God's blessed life.

Holy God, thank you for your written word, the Scriptures. May they come alive in our lives just as they do in our heart and minds. .Through Jesus we pray

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Lunch – Book bags

Students, don’t forget to leave your book bags in the hallway outside of your 4^th or 5^th period classrooms, prior to going to lunch.

 

2^nd lunch, prior to going to lunch, if your book bag will not be needed to do school work during your lunch break – please leave your book bag outside your 6^th period class.  Mrs. Seymour and Ms. Chapman will be in the Commons today at lunch to speak with the students.

 

Some students are still being dropped off in front of the school.  Car Riders MUST be dropped-off and picked-up through the carline. 

 

OLA Sports

Sailing:  See flyer in front office window

 

Today: 9th grade, JV and varsity volleyball at Long Beach, 9th grade at 4:30, JV at 5:30 and varsity to follow

-Junior High volleyball at Ocean Springs, B team at 5 and A team at 6

 

Saturday: Inter-team swim meet at 9 am at SSC
