Good Morning OLA!   

 

Today is Wednesday, August 10, 2022. 

 

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.  

 

Psalms 46:1  God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.

Thoughts on today's verse:  Where can we go when all the walls fall and all the armies crumble and all hope is lost? To the eternal God, who is our Father. He preserved Israel through the most difficult of times, protected the Bible from those who would eradicate it, and has led his Church through troubles and triumphs through the centuries. He will do the same with us until he brings us home to himself.

Our Rock, Our Hope, and Our Protector, we thank you for preserving our lives. we thank you for hearing our cries for help and healing. We thank you for guiding our feet into ways that have been a blessing. Please, O God, stay close by as we face the stresses and challenges in our lives. Through your Spirit, enable us to grow and be examples to others as we pass through life's storm. Through Jesus we pray

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

IMPORTANT MESSAGES

Today, during 2^nd lunch, we will have the first meeting of the Chorus Club.  If you are interested in being in the Chorus Club, please go straight to the cafeteria, get your food and report to Mrs. Jarrell's classroom.

Lunch - Bookbags

1^st lunch, prior to going to lunch, if your book bag will not be needed to do school work during your lunch break – please leave your book bag outside your 5^th period class.

 

2^nd lunch, prior to going to lunch, if your book bag will not be needed to do school work during your lunch break – please leave your book bag outside your 6^th period class.

 

Some students are still being dropped off in front of the school.  Car Riders MUST be dropped-off and picked-up through the carline. 

 

OLA Sports

Swim team tryouts will be held again today from 4-6.
