Good Morning OLA!   Today is Wednesday, August 17, 2022. 

 

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.  

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

IMPORTANT MESSAGES

If you are interested in Robotics, there will be a meeting at 3:30 on Thursday in the Robotics room. If you have any questions please see Mrs. Cranford. 

 

Seniors – swim banner pictures will be taken on today after school at practice; cross country and volleyball banner pictures will be taken on Thursday after school at practice.  Plan accordingly.  If you have any questions, ask your coach.

 

PLEASE remember to return your raffle ticket stubs and money to the office as soon as possible.  Place the ticket stubs and money in a sealed envelope, with the student’s name listed on the front of the envelope. 

 

Order your 2022 Campus Ministry T-shirt before they are gone!  See Mrs. Mayer before or after school.  Shirts are $20 and can be charged to your FACTS account.

 

This Thursday Campus Ministry will hold our first meeting of the school year!  Campus Ministry is open to all students. We will meet at 8am in Mrs. Mayer’s classroom, come get involved! 

 

Chorus meets during lunch TODAY, get your food as quickly as possible and report to Mrs. Jarrell's room.

 

Chromebook chargers have been ordered, if you lose your charger the replacement price is $50.00.

 

Don’t forget, breakfast is available each morning in the Commons.  Bacon or sausage, eggs, grits, biscuit or toast.   They also offer a yogurt bar with granola and fresh fruit toppings.  Delicious, be sure to try it!

 

OLA Sports

Today: Junior High Volleyball at Bayou View Orange-White Team at 5 and Maroon Team to follow

Thursday: 9th grade, JV and Varsity Volleyball at home vs. Gulfport- 9th at 4:30, JV at 5:30 and varsity to follow.

 

SAILING NEWS:

Attention students who have an interest in SAILING: There will be a sailing team organizational meeting after school TODAY. If you have an interest in sailing, you are invited to find out all about the team. The meeting will be after school today in the St. Stanislaus computer lab until 4:30.
