                           OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Wednesday, August 31, 2022

Good Morning OLA!   Today is Wednesday, August 31, 2022.

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Psalms 95:6-7  Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker; for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care.

Thoughts on today's verse:  Worship is more than our heart, soul, and words offered to God. It's our posture. When we understand the grace he has given us to be called his children, what else can we do but bow down. We come to him as a conquering ruler in full submission, and he chooses to treat us tenderly, like a loving shepherd.

Lord, we come to you seeking your protection and rest, often harried and driven by life's pressures and temptations. But we come to you, not demanding, but submitting ourselves to be used for your glory -- not just today, but for the rest of our lives. In Jesus we pray.….

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Please remain standing for the Pledge:

I pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
