Good Morning OLA! Today is Friday, September 16, 2022.
Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.
Let us offer our special intentions for those in need of our prayers.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
James 3:13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show it by his good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom.
Thoughts on today's verse: Wisdom is proven right by the character of a loving lifestyle. It is so easy, however, for someone to be arrogantly intelligent and be dumber than a post at spiritual wisdom. Which are you closer to in your walk with Jesus -- wisdom expressed through humble and loving lifestyle or smart with feelings of superiority and arrogance?
Loving Shepherd, we know you have been a wise and loving Father to us. Help us to share that care you have lavished on us, on the person who most needs it today. Through Jesus we pray.
Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Come out and support a great cause, the race is TOMORROW at Washington Pavilion. The cost is 25.00 and you will receive a t-shirt. We are also collecting new and gently used tennis shoes.
OLA SPORTS
The JV and varsity volleyball teams both beat pass high last night! Great job girls!
Saturday: Cross Country at Ocean Springs Invitational
-Swim team at West Jones Invitational
-Cross Country at Gulfport Admiral Meet at 9 am
-Swim team at home vs. Slidell at 10 am
Students who have classes at SSC, DO NOT report to SSC today. Instead report to the following classrooms:
2nd Period Marine, report to the Commons.
3rd Period Marine and Band, report to the Commons.
4th Period Marine, report to Ms. Grey’s room.
6th Period Marine, French and Band, report to Mrs. Haas’ room.
7th Period Marine and French, report to the Commons.
8th Period French & Band, report to the Commons.
