OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS
Friday, September 9, 2022
Good Morning OLA! Today is Friday, September 9, 2022.
Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.
Let us offer our special intentions for those in need of our prayers. We especially continue to pray for Dr. Rhonda Clark that she will make a full recovery from her recent surgery.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
John 14:23 Jesus replied, "If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him."
Thoughts on today's verse: Jesus is telling us that until we can come be with him at his place, he will come live with us here in our hearts. It all hinges on one thing, our willingness to obey him. Not a bad deal, is it? So let's not let obedience be a forgotten word in our lifestyle!
Holy God, we know Jesus came to earth and obeyed your will. Give us discernment that our obedience will not simply be the obedience of your words, but will also be the obedience of your will. We long to honor you because you have done so much to save us. Thank you. Through Jesus we pray.
Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Please remain standing for the Pledge:
I pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
