Good Morning OLA! I’m __________________. Today is Thursday, September 22, 2022.
Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.
Let us offer our special intentions for those in need of our prayers.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Romans 15:7 Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.
Thoughts on today's verse: I hate racism and exclusivity. But my loathing does not even approach God's revulsion at these things. On the other hand, we can anticipate the choir of heaven if we will accept one another in Jesus and not let race, language, culture, or suspicion keep us from loving each other as we have already been loved by the Savior.
Holy and Righteous Father, we pray that we will let your Spirit and your grace help us tear down any wall that divides your people based on race, culture, or privilege. Teach us to love all people the way you do. Through Jesus we pray.
Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Service Hours Opportunity
Help with the Ladies Auxiliary Rummage Sale on Saturday and Sunday, October 1st and 2nd. Or help to set up on Friday September 30th. See flyer in front office window for more information.
OLA SPORTS
The junior high volleyball team won their playoff game vs Vancleave. They will play Bayou View on Monday for the Championship.
Today: JV/V volleyball at West Marion, JV at 5 and varsity to follow
Students are placing their gum on the dishes in the cafeteria. If this continues, the privilege of chewing gum on campus will be revolt.
Mercy Day On Friday morning all students should wear their Sisterhood shirt with their school skirt and school shoes. You will report to your 1st period class for attendance. After taking attendance, students will report to Prayer Service, the Tea, followed by Adoration. After adoration, students will report back to their 1st period class to change into their shorts (must be school appropriate) and closed back shoes. If your shorts are too short, students will be asked to wear their school uniform skirt. Note: Please place your skirt and shoes in your back pack, so it does not get mixed up with the other students. Students may have their cell phones at this time and should report to the front of the Community Center for lunch.
