OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS
Thursday, September 8, 2022
Good Morning OLA! Today is Thursday, September 8, 2022.
Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.
Let us offer our special intentions for those in need of our prayers. We especially pray for Dr. Rhonda Clark who underwent surgery yesterday.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Psalms 143:10 Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.
Thoughts on today's verse: We want the Spirit to be at work in us to make us like Jesus. For this to happen, we must open our heart to the will of God. There are no greater words God wants to hear than "teach me to do your will."
Almighty God, we want you to truly be God in our lives. We submit our will to yours. Please forgive us when our hearts are cold and our ears are deaf to your will. Through Jesus our Lord, we ask you to assert your will as God in our live, as we pray.
Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Please remain standing for the Pledge:
I pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
