Good Morning OLA! Today is Tuesday, September 27, 2022.
Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God as we offer our special intentions for those in need of our prayers.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Matthew 6:33 Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Thoughts on today's verse: Seek -- pursue relentlessly -- God's Lordship over your life and the righteousness it demands in your daily life. What you pursue is all temporary; only God and his Kingdom remain. In the process, you will find that the God who gives you his Kingdom and righteousness also will bless you with the things that you need in this life
Holy Lord, only in you do we find what satisfies our soul's desires. The things that have captured our eyes are boring after only a short while. The artificial things we have pursued, all of our addictive pursuits, have left us empty and enslaved. We find hope and help only in you. Please be near to love, correct, discipline, lead, and mold us to your glory. Through Jesus we pray.
Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Have you ever been an altar server in your parish or at school? Have you ever wanted to learn to altar serve? We need you. Please sign the list on Mrs. Mayer’s door if you are interested in altar serving for school masses. Training will take place in the next few weeks.

Help with the Ladies Auxiliary Rummage Sale on Saturday and Sunday, October 1st and 2nd. Or help to set up on Friday September 30th. See flyer in front office window for more information.
OLA SPORTS
Today: JV/V volleyball at home vs. Tylertown, JV at 5:30 and varsity to follow.
Wednesday: Junior high basketball parent interest meeting at 6 pm in the Commons.
Thursday: 9th/JV/V volleyball at home vs. Long Beach, 9th at 4:30, JV at 5:30 and varsity to follow.
-Volleyball Senior Night after the JV game around 6 pm.
Saturday: JV/V volleyball at Vancleave Tournament.
-Swim team at Demoruelle Invitational at Biloxi Natatorium at 10 am.
