Good Morning OLA! Today is Wednesday, September 21, 2022.
Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.
Let us offer our special intentions for those in need of our prayers.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
2 Corinthians 13:14 May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
Thoughts on today's verse: We have a friend in Jesus who has taught us the power of blessings. Grace, love and fellowship rooted in the eternal, sacrificial, and gracious nature of our God, and we share it with God's children all around the world. Through Jesus we pray.
Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

IMPORTANT MESSAGES
Attention all National Honor Society members:
The form for officer nominations has been reopened until 9:00 this morning to give all members who want to run for office the opportunity to add their names. Once the nominations close, an email containing a link for members to cast their votes will be sent out. Voting for National Honor Society officers must be completed today so please check your email regularly and complete the voting form!
Attention all Spanish Honor Society members:
Please meet today in room 26 during lunch (5th period) for a quick meet and greet. Topics to discuss are: new officers for the year and events for the school year.
Final call for any 10-12 grader who would like to participate in the Youth Legislature conference. We will have weekly meetings and the conference is November 10-12. Please see Mrs. Cuevas if you have not already signed up. Our first meeting will be WEDNESDAY during lunch in Mrs. Cuevas's room (17). Grab your lunch and come to room 17 quickly as possible.

Service Hours Opportunity
Help with the Ladies Auxiliary Rummage Sale on Saturday and Sunday, October 1st and 2nd. Or help to set up on Friday September 30th. See flyer in front office window for more information.
OLA SPORTS
The JV and varsity volleyball teams both beat St. Patrick last night! Great job girls!
The junior high maroon volleyball team will host Vancleave today at 5:30 in the playoff game.
Students are placing their gum on the dishes in the cafeteria. If this continues, the privilege of chewing gum during on campus will be revoked.
SISTERHOOD MEETINGS, tomorrow morning at 8:00 a.m. See signs posted throughout campus for location of meetings.
