                                 OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Wednesday, September 28, 2022

Good Morning OLA!   Today is Wednesday, September 28, 2022.

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God as we offer our special intentions for those in need of our prayers.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

1 Corinthians 2:14  The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Thoughts on today's verse:  The Holy Spirit is God's abiding gift, God's seal and promise. The Spirit is our assurance that what he began with Jesus' sacrificial death and our participation in it through faith and baptism, he will bring to completion.

Father, we thank you for sending Jesus. Jesus, we thank you for sending the Spirit. Spirit, we thank you for never leaving us alone. As we are filled with the Spirit, O Lord, so fill us more until our will and our life more nearly reflect your desires. Use us to bless others just as your presence now blesses us. Through Jesus we pray.

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Please remain standing for the Pledge:

I pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
