                               OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Wednesday, September 7, 2022

Good Morning OLA!   Today is Wednesday, September 7, 2022.

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God.

Let us offer our special intentions for those in need of our prayers.   We especially pray for Dr. Rhonda Clark who underwent surgery yesterday.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

1 Peter 1:15-16  Just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: "Be holy, because I am holy."

Thoughts on today's verse:  When God is calling us to be holy, he's calling us to be something special, and as Peter emphasizes, just like him.

Holy Lord, God Almighty, we come before you knowing how great the distance is between your holiness and our commonness. We thank you for making us holy through the sacrifice of Jesus and by sending your Holy Spirit to live inside of us. Through Jesus we pray.

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Please remain standing for the Pledge:

I pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
