Good Morning OLA!   Today is Friday, October 28, 2022. 

 

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God as we offer our special intentions for those in need of our prayers.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

1 Peter 1:24-25  All men are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of the Lord stands forever.

Thoughts on today's verse:  As the seasons change, the leaves fall, and the grass dies, we are reminded once again of how short our lives are. Despite the rapid advancements of technology, our deepest needs are addressed only by the eternal and proven will of God in Scripture. Whether you get your Scripture off the Bible on disk or from an old family Bible, access it today.

As we age, we are constantly reminded, O God, of our transitory stay on earth and your eternal reign in heaven. Give us a sense of our place before you as we seek your will in your Word.  'Through Jesus we pray.

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Birthdays

Celebrating birthdays today are Janna Babin and Eva Wittman.  And celebrating birthday over the weekend are Isabel Barvie, Katie Koenenn and Reagan Krebs.  Happy Birthday to ALL!

 

IMPORTANT MESSAGES

Due to Halloween, Taekwondo WILL NOT meet on Monday.

 

Teachers, please check your student’s attire. Students can wear their favorite team jersey or team t-shirt, OLA skirt and tennis shoes.  If not dressed appropriately, please send them to the office to call home for their school uniform.
