Good Morning OLA!   Today is Thursday, November 3, 2022. 

 

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God as we offer our special intentions for those in need of our prayers.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

Romans 13:1  Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.

Thoughts on today's verse

Yes, there are things we don't like about our government. But God has truly blessed us to enjoy the protection of the authorities. But we also live in the time of some of the greatest persecution ever known in the Christian era. So as we pray for our leaders and thank God for our freedoms, let's not forget the persecuted church all over the world.  Through Jesus We Pray…….

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Service Hour Opportunity - OLG Parish needs help with childcare during an RCIA retreat for their parents on Saturday, November 12, from 10am until 5pm.  It can be broken into shifts.  Please sign up with Mrs. Mayer is you are available.

The junior high basketball team beat Pass Middle last night! Great job girls!

 

JUNIORS!!!  Important message…….  Mr. Seth Davis with Herff Jones will be on campus today at lunch to meet with all juniors regarding ordering class rings.  Please grab your lunch and meet him in the Physic Lab.
