Good Morning OLA!   Today is Friday, January 13, 2023

 

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God as we offer our special intentions for those in need of our prayers.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Birthdays

Celebrating birthdays over the weekend are Alexandra Weatherly, Lily Garcia and Ellen Gibson.  Happy “Early” Birthday to ALL!

 

Mrs. Cuevas will be distributing the fabric for your banners TODAY.    8th-12th grade, locate your dowel and string from last year as we will not replace that.  7th grade, we will give you your dowel.  

 

OLA Student Council is happy to announce the long awaited return of MGM! The dance is open to all SSC and OLA 9-12th grade students. It will be held on February 4th from 7-11 at the Old Town Civic Center. Tickets are $20 and will be sold during second lunch and after school starting Tuesday. Please see Mrs. Colbert if you have any questions. 

 

Fish Fry this Saturday, January 14^th, starting at 11:00 a.m. to benefit the families of last month's fallen officers. 

 

This Week at OLA

The junior high soccer team beat Bay Middle 3-0 in the championship game! Congratulations girls!
The JV and varsity soccer teams play at St. Patrick tonight. Varsity at 5:30 and JV to follow.
The varsity basketball team will travel to West Marion to play at 6 pm.

 

VERY IMPORTANT, LISTEN UP:  Monday is a Holiday, no school.  When we return on Tuesday, this is a SCHOOL MASS.  Please remember to wear your oxford shirts on Tuesday.
