Good Morning OLA!   Today is Monday, January 23, 2023.

 

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God as we offer our special intentions for those in need of our prayers.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Birthdays

Celebrating their birthday on Saturday was Claire Wojtowicz.  Happy “Belated” Birthday Claire.  And celebrating their birthday today is Maryanne Balch.  Happy Birthday Maryanne!

 

Important Messages

On Thursday, the menu has changed to PIZZA HUT PERSONAL PAN PIZZA.  Please check your email and place your order for either Cheese Pizza or Pepperoni and Cheese.  Even if you are not eating, you must complete the google link.

 

Juniors, when the bell rings for lunch TODAY, go immediately to Mrs. Bush’s room for a quick class meeting.

 

OLA Student Council MGM’s dance is open to all SSC and OLA 9-12th grade students. Tickets are $20 and will be sold during second lunch and after school. Please see Mrs. Colbert if you have any questions. 

 

St. Stanislaus Diamond Girl applications are available online for 9th through 12th grade.  Please see the flyers posted in the front office window.

 

Attention 7-9 graders interested in Junior Youth Legislature!  Your paperwork is due TOMORROW.  

 

OLA Sports

The varsity soccer team beat Crystal springs 8-0 on Saturday. With this win, they advance to the 2nd round of playoffs. They will travel to Clarkdale tonight to play at 5:30.

 

Saint Stanislaus hosted the "Rock the New Year Regatta" at Bay Waveland Yacht Club on Saturday. Competitors from SSC sailed a total of 8 races on 4 different courses. Jeremy Reddoch and Ashley Hilton took 1st place.  Also sailing for the team were Karoline Burroughs, Emma Harris, and Melanie Champagne. Great job Sailing Team!
