OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS
Thursday, January 12, 2023
Good Morning OLA! Today is Thursday, January 12, 2023
Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God as we offer our special intentions for those in need of our prayers.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Please remain standing for the Pledge:
I pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
Mrs. Cuevas will be distributing the fabric for your banners on Friday. 8th-12th grade, locate your dowel and string from last year as we will not replace that. 7th grade, we will give you your dowel.
OLA AMBASSADORS
There will be an important meeting TODAY during lunch. If you are a 7th-9th grader, we will meet during first lunch. 10th-12th will meet during second lunch. Grab your lunch and meet in Room 305 in Joseph hall. If you are interested in running for an officer position or cannot make the meeting, email Mrs. Corr.
Fish Fry Benefitting Fallen Officer Families
St. Rose, with cooperation from Bay St Louis businesses and another group from Jackson County, is holding a Fish Fry this Saturday, January 14th, to benefit the families of last month's fallen officers.
Plates, which include St. Rose's famous fried fish and jambalaya, are $15.00. 100% of the money collected will go to the Fallen Officer Fund, as the BSL businesses have pledged to cover all expenses.
The fish fry will begin at 11 AM and continue through the afternoon and evening or until they run out of fish. Plates will be available for drive-through or dine-in at the Holy Spirit Center or under the Fair Pavilion. Soft drinks will be available for $1.00. The goal is to sell 1000 plates, so please join us and help spread the word.
