Good Morning OLA!   Today is Wednesday, January 18, 2023.

 

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God as we offer our special intentions for those in need of our prayers.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Birthdays

Celebrating birthdays today are Kaitlyn Makamson and Ellie Powell.   Happy Birthday Kaitlyn and Ellie!

 

Important Messages

Attention all crescents.... We will be able to dress in your classes chosen intramural colors tomorrow (THURDAY) --you need to follow directions--if you do not have the correct 2 colors--wear your uniform.   You can wear the correct color shirt with your skirt.   If you wear sweat pants or jeans or pants they MUST be one of the 2 colors.  No leggings.  If you do not follow directions you will be sent to the office to call home for your uniform.  

7th grade yellow and light blue              8th grade red and royal blue

9th grade black and red                        10th grade navy and silver

11th grade brown and light green          12th grade red and white

 

MUSIC IS DUE TO MS. ASHLEY TODAY - WEDNESDAY!   

 

DOOR WORKERS AND CLEANUP CREW ARE DUE THURSDAY.

 

REMIND STAR DADS TO BE IN GYM AT 2 TO HANG BACKDROP.

 

Attention CAC members and officers:  Soccer senior night is Thursday so we need to work on banner and bags at both lunches today 

 

OLA Student Council MGM’s dance is open to all SSC and OLA 9-12th grade students. Tickets are $20 and will be sold during second lunch and after school. Please see Mrs. Colbert if you have any questions. 

 

This Friday, January 20, we will again participate in the March for Life sponsored by the OLG Knights of Columbus.  We will line up in the Holy Trinity carline beginning at 10:15am.  As soon as everyone is in place, the prayer march will begin.  It will end with a closing prayer led by Fr. Mike at the memorial to the unborn in front of OLG church.

 

VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE:  All students and staff MUST have their ID Badge with them to give to the cafeteria cashier if eating lunch.  If you do not have your badge, please stop by the office to see Mrs. Hinson before reporting to the Commons.
