Good Morning OLA!   Today is Wednesday, January 25, 2023.

 

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God as we offer our special intentions for those in need of our prayers.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

I pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

 

Birthdays

Celebrating their birthday today is Kimberly Pennell.  Happy Birthday Kimber!

 

Important Messages

Attention all students, the Junior class is selling king cakes now through January 30th. King Cakes will be delivered on February 7th.   Please speak with a member of the Junior class if you are interested in purchasing one.  

 

OLA Student Council MGM’s dance is open to all SSC and OLA 9-12th grade students. Tickets are $20 and will be sold during second lunch and after school. Please see Mrs. Colbert if you have any questions. 

 

To kick off Catholic School’s Week, we are having our School Carnival on Sunday, January 29th from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.  All Students, parents and siblings are encouraged to attend this FULL FILLED EVENT!

We will have hot dogs, nachos, funnel cakes, cotton candy, popcorn, drinks and plenty of games!

 

We are asking for every student to bring in a 2-liter drink.  Give your drink to your 1st Period teacher tomorrow morning or Friday morning at the latest.  The Class who brings in the most drinks will receive a treat at lunch!

 

OLA Sports

Please see coach Corley’s door or the office window for the 2023 Tennis roster.

 

The varsity basketball team will play Tylertown at home at 5 pm tonight.

                         OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS Friday, August 4, 2023   Good Morning OLA!    Today is Friday, August 4, 2023.    Welcome Back to the 2023-2024 School Year: It’s hard to believe that we are starting yet another school year.  If you are a returning student, welcome back!  If you are new to our OLA family, welcome!  We are looking forward to a very successful and fun-filled school year.
