Good Morning OLA!   Today is Friday, February 10, 2023.

 

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God as we offer our special intentions for those in need of our prayers.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

Please remain standing for the Pledge:

I pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

 

Birthdays

Celebrating birthdays over the weekend are Geordie Flickinger, Julia Hoffman and Emily Johnston.  Happy Early Birthday to ALL!

 

Important Messages

Congratulations to our girls who participated in the Math & Science Tournament yesterday!  They placed 1st in the Quiz Bowl.  Katie Favre placed in the top 10 in Biology and Kaila Seymour placed in the top 20 in Biology.

Great Job Mrs. Canford and girls!!

 

Help Campus Ministry with our annual St. Gerard Baby Drive! All who bring in any baby items may participate in a lunch period Baby Showers with lots of fun games and treats!   All donations are welcome, but the items especially needed are: sizes 4,5,6 diapers, baby wipes, Walmart gift cards, or a new pack n play. 

Items can be brought to Mrs. Mayer’s room until Thursday, February 16th!

 

Students should not leave the Commons during lunch unless you have a note from your teacher.  If you are going to the library, you will sign-out with the teacher on duty in the Gap.  You will still stop by the office to be issued a pink slip to go to the library

 

Today’s Menu:  Pork Nacho Bar; or Soup & Salad Bar, today’s soup is Chicken & Sausage Gumbo.

 

OLA Sports

This weekend, the SSC/OLA Sailing team will be participating in the Super Bowl Regatta at the Bay-Waveland Yacht Club.  Good Luck Sailors!

Last Day of School – Dress Code & Dismissal Information

  Dear Parents, As we approach the last day of school on  Friday , please take note of the following important reminders: Students may wear shorts and a t-shirt  on the last day. Please ensure attire is school-appropriate. 8th grade students  should bring their  complete Mass uniform  to change into for the  8th Grade Promotion Ceremony . Exams will end at 10:00 AM. From  10:00–11:00 AM , students will report to their  class sponsor’s classroom . During this time, they will be called to the office to  return Chromebooks and chargers . 8th graders  will return their Chromebooks during their  8th period exam .
