Good Morning OLA!   Today is Thursday, February 2, 2023.

 

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God as we offer our special intentions for those in need of our prayers.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

Please remain standing for the Pledge:

I pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

 

Birthdays

Celebrating their birthday today is Faith Ponte.  Happy Birthday Faith!

 

Important Messages

All members of Lego League please go to room 22 to see Mrs. Cranford immediately after announcements.

 

Students who were invited to attend the Mississippi Math and Science Tournament, please see Mrs. Cranford TODAY at lunch in the commons.  

 

The pep rally Friday is Circus themed.  We will be allowed to dress up with things, animals and people associated with the Circus.  If you have questions about what is allowed see Mrs. Cuevas, Jackie Mossy, Olivia Tartavoulle, Grace Schruff or Caroline Maillho.  For example: something not acceptable: to dress as a mermaid; but you can dress as a tiger or a trapeze artist or a Ring Master etc.   

 

OLA Student Council MGM’s dance is open to all SSC and OLA 9-12th grade students. Tickets are $20 each, see Mrs. Colbert to purchase tickets. 

 

Teachers who have 1st Period Class:  Please ask your students if they will be eating lunch today. 

Today’s Menu:  Jambalaya, Green Beans and Hot Roll; or Soup and Salad Bar. 

Email your totals for “Hot Meals” and “Cold Meals” to Mrs. Carolee before the end of 1st Period.

Last Day of School – Dress Code & Dismissal Information

  Dear Parents, As we approach the last day of school on  Friday , please take note of the following important reminders: Students may wear shorts and a t-shirt  on the last day. Please ensure attire is school-appropriate. 8th grade students  should bring their  complete Mass uniform  to change into for the  8th Grade Promotion Ceremony . Exams will end at 10:00 AM. From  10:00–11:00 AM , students will report to their  class sponsor’s classroom . During this time, they will be called to the office to  return Chromebooks and chargers . 8th graders  will return their Chromebooks during their  8th period exam .
