Good Morning OLA!   Today is Monday, March 27, 2023.

 

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God as we offer our special intentions for those in need of our prayers.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Important Messages

Thank you to everyone who has completed and turned in all of your Service Hours!  As a reminder, service hours reflections are graded for a test grade in the fourth quarter.  Additionally, successful completion of service hours is required each year to fulfill the requirements for your Religion credit.  Please check with Mrs. Patton this week on the status of your service hours so that you can plan to complete any needed hours over Spring Break.  It is too late to submit hours worked last summer or during the first semester, as those deadlines have passed.  The last day to turn in service hours is May 1!

 

If you had to make-up your Class Retreat because of absence, please see Ms. Patton or Mrs. Mayer this week so that they can confirm your make-up retreat.  If you have not yet made up your retreat, please see them regarding make-up plans.

 

There will be a chorus/drama meeting after school on Wednesday from 3:30 -4:00 in Mrs. Jarrell's room to discuss our End-of-Year Show.  If you want to participate in the show, please make every effort to attend.  If you absolutely can't make it, see Mrs. Jarrell BEFORE Wednesday.

 

Students, please remember – School Mass tomorrow, wear your oxfords.  We do not have any oxfords to loan. 

 

OLA Sports

Congratulations to the Sailing Team for winning both state championships this weekend. Saturday, our team took top honors in the state for Fleet Racing; Sunday, our sailors took state in Team Racing. OLA Sailing members are Karoline Burroughs, Ashley Hilton.  There will be a debrief clinic after school today in the SSC computer lab instead of our varsity practice to prepare for the national qualifiers next weekend. Keep up the winning momentum, Sailing Team! 

 

Tennis and Track are checking out early today.  If you did not leave your cell phone in the office, please do so when the bell rings at the end of 1^st period.

 

Teachers:  please take daily attendance.  Pizza was pre-ordered on Friday.  Soup & Salad Bar;   Soup is Broccoli Cheddar.  Teachers, please enter your student “SALAD” count.
