                              OUR LADY ACADEMY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Monday, April 3, 2023

Good Morning OLA!  Today is Monday, April 3, 2023.

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God as we offer our special intentions for those in need of our prayers.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Please remain standing for the Pledge:

I pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Thank you to everyone who helped at the churches with the KC fish fries for Lent!  Your service was greatly appreciated.

Those who are still in need of service hours, there are a few opportunities next week.

If you would like to help decorate a church for Easter services, please contact the youth minister or church office at your church to inquire about helping.

Also - OLG is looking for help next week to clean some of the headstones in St. Mary's Cemetery.  Please see Mrs. Mayer if you are interested in helping.

Wiggin’ Out For Cancer Ribbon Walk:  Saturday, April 29th.  This is a great way to earn service hours, see flyers posted on campus.  Please sign-up with Mrs. Mayer to work this event.

Teachers:  please take daily attendance and enter your lunch count.   Today’s Menu:  Red Beans and Rice with Corn Bread; or Soup & Salad Bar.  Today’s Soup is Chicken Tortilla.

OLA Sports

The sailing team returns from Texas today, having sailed in the southeast regional championships. Our team took 5th place in fleet racing and 5th place in team racing. While we didn't win, placing top 5 in the southeast is still quite good. OLA Sailors were Karoline Burroughs and Ashley Hilton. Great job Sailing Team!

If you plan to tryout for volleyball this year, please sign up on the sheet outside of the office. Tryouts will start on May 1st.

That’s all from WOLA, Have a Great Day!

At this time, all students please stand for the daily uniform and cell phone check.
