Good Morning OLA!   Today is Tuesday, April 18, 2023.

 

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God as we offer our special intentions for those in need of our prayers.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Please remain standing for the Pledge:

I pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

 

Important Messages

Seniors, please empty your lockers, which are located in Johnson Hall before the end of the day today.  This building will be locked after today, so you will not be able to retrieve any items left in your old locker.  Your graduation shoes must be approved by the principal and you must submit your nomination on who will crown Mary.  Also, when eating lunch in the senior courtyard, please remember to lower your umbrella before leaving.

 

On April 26th the student council will be hosting a blood drive.  The class who has the most people donating in their name will receive a cotton candy party at lunch. Get your parents, neighbors, friends to give us their blood! 

 

ATTENTION SENIOR ATHLETES

We will be distributing your senior banners at the Pep Rally on Thursday.  If you have not chosen a walkout song and given the song choice to Ellen Gibson by 3pm today, you will not have a song.    There is a google doc if you would rather respond there.  See Jackie Mossy if you have any questions. 

 

OLA Sports

Softball won their game last night against Resurrection!

The tennis team beat Enterprise yesterday to advance to South State. Great job girls.

If you plan to play basketball next year, please sign up on the sheet outside of the office.

The golf team will compete in the district tournament today at 2 pm at Sunkist Golf Course.
The softball team will travel to Resurrection to play tonight at 5:30. Good luck girls!

 

Teachers:  please take daily attendance and enter your lunch count.   Today’s Menu:  Hamburger with Cole Slaw and Chips; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is Chicken and Dumpling Soup.
