Good Morning OLA!   Today is Wednesday, April 19, 2023.

 

Please stand for our morning prayer as we remember that we are in the presence of God as we offer our special intentions for those in need of our prayers.  

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Please remain standing for the Pledge:

I pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

 

Important Messages

Seniors, please empty your lockers, which are located in Johnson Hall before the end of the day today.  This building will be locked after today, so you will not be able to retrieve any items left in your old locker.  Your graduation shoes must be approved by the principal and you must submit your nomination on who will crown Mary.  Also, when eating lunch in the senior courtyard, please remember to lower your umbrella before leaving.

 

On Thursday students will be participating in field day. Seniors and juniors will be allowed to change clothes during their lunch. 7th through 9th grades are asked to wear a school appropriate t-shirt in the intramural color that was chosen by their class, and shorts that are an APPROPRIATE length for a school activity! Shorts should not be shorter than your shirt! Ladies, please use good judgment when choosing shorts to wear to school. Athletic shorts are permitted, but please make sure you are completely covered. If you have to question if it is alright to wear, it probably is not. Student council is looking forward to a great field day! 

 

OLA Sports

The golf team won the district tournament yesterday! Tilley Newman came in 2nd overall and Gabby Haas came in 4th overall. Congratulations girls!
-The archery team will travel to Jackson today for the state tournament at 4:00. Good luck girls!
-The tennis team will travel to St. Andrews today for the South State match at 3:30. Good luck girls.

Teachers:  please take daily attendance and enter your lunch count.   Today’s Menu:  Corn Dog, Mac N. Cheese and Fruit; or Soup and Salad Bar. Today’s Soup is Creole Onion Soup.

 

Archery Team, please report to the Gap right now!
